Lululemon just reported its first sales miss in 4 years, but that didn’t stop ousted founder Chip Wilson from giving a brash vote of confidence in the business

Wilson, 63,after making controversial remarks that the company’s sheer pants did not work for some women’s bodies. However, he remains the largest individual shareholder with an 8% stake. The value of his Lululemon stake has doubled to $3 billion since the shutdown began. Combined with other holdings, Forbes estimates his total fortune at $5.2 billion.

“There’s been a movement toward comfort. Everyone has experienced that,” says Wilson. “It’s really tough to go back to anything else.”
