Once again, Trudeau shows that his commitment to issues is situational at best.

However, they are prohibited and punishable under local laws in some provinces,” the travel advisory from Global Affairs Canada says..“In Aceh, Sharia law is enforced and sexual acts between Muslim individuals of the same sex is punished by caning. They could also face arrest under charges related to immoral behaviour, prostitution or social ills.

Trudeau’s office issued two statements on the meeting the PM had with Widodo without mentioning LGBTQ issues at all.Article content Trudeau doesn’t need to raise LGBTQ issues at every meeting with every world leader.
