Thank you, Doug Ford, for spearheading the “Request for Bail Reform,” which Justin Trudeau may finally realize is long overdue. Now, why not continue on this trend and request the premiers from all 13 provinces and territories sign a letter requesting the nullification of the federal government’s plan to outlaw ownership of guns to legitimate licensed gun owners and hunters, which will do nothing to stop gang violence in this country.

Please try againIf we seriously want to reduce violent crime in Toronto we need to implement five policies and procedures: reinstate carding; put police presence back in schools; stop releasing people who have been arrested or convicted of any illegal activities involving a gun or knife; increase prison sentences for all violent crime; and if convicted criminals are recent arrival in Canada, deport them immediately back to the country from where they came and prohibit their return to Canada.
