Scores of lives lost, millions displaced, numerous infrastructures destroyed, supply chain severely affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. New tactics and more deadly weapons are being deployed every day. Still no sign of an end in sight. War destroys all parties. No one wins. Only compromise can stop this. I urge all parties to immediately come to the negotiating table and compromise. The situation is bound to become a dire one for the entire planet.
A national inquiry is needed to fix emergency department problems and take to task those politicians responsible. Lives depend on it.Article contentThese cities’ downtowns are like Vancouver and are dying because of the drugs and drug users littering the downtown making it unsafe and unsanitary for visitors. We need to get back to dealing with these issues effectively instead of enabling them. Treatment, not enablement.
