After a long and heated process, Langford council unanimously approved purchasing the Westhills YW/ YMCA at a special council meeting Monday.
“I think of any item we’ve had these past two years, this is the number one thing we’ve received data on,” he said. Goodmanson’s comment came after a raucous start to the meeting, which was marked by multiple outbursts from attendees in the gallery. One councillor even called for a man to be removed after he repeatedly yelled at councillors during debate.
