Laura Elaine Llewellyn, 39, of Kentville, has been sentenced to jail time for committing break, enter, and theft.
On May 15, Judge Ronda Van Der Hoek sentenced Titus to 90 days of intermittent custody on the impaired driving charge. The sentence will be served beginning Friday, May 17, at 8 p.m. to Monday, May 20, at 6 a.m. and every weekend thereafter until the time is served. The court imposed a three-year driving prohibition against Titus.
Trahan was also sentenced to 18 months of probation on the three charges. The court granted a primary DNA order; imposed a 10-year weapons prohibition against Trahan and granted a forfeiture order for any firearms or weapons in his possession. Henshaw pleaded guilty to the charges on May 14. Judge Christopher Manning handed Henshaw a suspended sentence with six months of probation for having more cannabis plants than permitted.
Strickland committed the offence in Bishopville on Oct. 21, 2023. Three more charges were withdrawn on May 15. They include unlawfully possessing hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking; unlawfully possessing oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking; and possessing proceeds of property, Canadian currency of a value not exceeding $5,000, knowing that the proceeds were obtained by the commission of an offence punishable by indictment.
