Kananaskis country user groups call for change to management around off-road vehicles abparks ableg abpoli
Shaun Peter, owner of Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Recreation, said he has sent multiple messages to the province asking if there is still a plan to enforce any kind of maintenance fee in the McLean Creek public land-use area, which is popular with off-highway vehicle enthusiasts.
Last year, the province introduced the Kananaskis Conservation fee with annual passes costing $90 and daily passes costing $15. Then-Environment Minister Jason Nixon promised all of the funds raised would go back into the area.
