Judge Nancy Orr sentenced Everett Roy MacMillan in provincial court in Charlottetown on July 11. FileCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Refusing a roadside breathalyzer demand from police has resulted in jail time for a P.E.I. man.
MacMillan pleaded guilty to the charge in court on June 20. At that court appearance, Crown attorney Lisa Goulden read in the facts of the case. Officers made a roadside alcohol screening demand, but MacMillan declined to blow into the device, saying"he wasn't going to pass," said Goulden.
