CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — More than 40 people gathered outside Province House on Sept. 18 for a rally that aimed to raise awareness on the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people .

The council held the rally to not only stand in solidarity with the affected families, Jackson said, but also to draw attention to the problem right here in P.E.I., especially in light of the disappearance of Summer Kneebone, who was reported missing more than a month ago.
