RCMP says a Vancouver Island homeowner was able to retreat indoors and call 911 after she spotted a mask-wearing man trying to climb onto her second-floor deck., had on what appeared to be a gas mask, the homeowner reported to Mounties.
“When she stepped onto her deck, she encountered a male wearing what appeared to be a gas mask. She reported that after encountering him briefly, he attempted to climb up to the second-floor deck where she was standing,” said RCMP inRCMP frontline members, police dog services and the Integrated Forensic Identification Section were called to the house on 7th Street around 10:10 p.m.
