In 2017, festival organizers Billy McFarland and Ja Rule promised attendees a luxury music experience on an island in the Bahamas. It was promoted by influencers, models and other industry insiders as bigger than Coachella. In reality, the festival produced the saddest-looking sandwiches anyone has ever seen, stranded party-goers in the Bahamas — and landed McFarland in jail.Now, after serving years in prison for fraud, McFarland is selling tickets to Fyre Festival 2.
