Intense erosion caused parts of a Jersey Shore beach to disappear. Have you seen damage like this in other spots?
“Our vision typically is big storm, lots of erosion ... Meg DuPont and her mother Julie own The Dancing Crab gift shop near 6th Avenue at Normandy Beach — a few blocks from where the erosion closed down the beach. “I’ve seen a definite slowdown in business as a result of it. This is our season. are scared as to what’s going to happen to the beach,” said DuPont, who has owned the gift shop for about 18 years.
