Job Opportunity - 2 Vacancies Industrial Millwright Northern Waterworks Inc. provides premium water/wastewater operations to Municipal, First Nation, and corporate clients.
Industrial Millwright is responsible to ensure the effective maintenance, repair, and safe operation of mechanical and related systems supporting water treatment and water pollution control plants, lift stations, and combined sewer overflow tanks.
Permanent Full Time : 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with rotational weekend and statutory holiday on-call responsibilities • Certified Journeyperson Millwright with an Inter-Provincial Ticket . • Must have proven practical experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial pumps, motors, and controls.• Valid Wastewater Treatment Operator Class 1 Certificate is an asset.• Demonstrates a commitment to pursuing Water and Wastewater Certifications. • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment. This requires basic working knowledge of electrical and plumbing.• Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System , including asset inventory as required.• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedules and manufacturer guidelines.• Support implementation and modification of mechanical systems and new technologies.• Work in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.• Calibrate and monitor equipment for accuracy and reliability.• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job.• This role will require frequent travel between various water and wastewater plants located in different cities throughout Northern and Northwestern Ontario.
