“Obviously they are a good program, and you have to respect the things they have done in the past and the success they’ve had,” UIW quarterback Lindsey Scott said. “But at the end of the day if you get caught up in name then you are already behind the eight-ball. They are an amazing team, but we have a great team, too. We prepared our butts off this week and are ready to go play.”
Behind Scott, who has thrown for 4,404 yards and 59 touchdowns , UIW is second in the FCS in passing offense at 372.1 yards per game. The Bison also have the highest-rated defense UIW has faced this season, rating third in the FCS in yards per game allowed.
