About 30 years ago, I was driving through Litchfield County, Conn., where I lived on weekends and still do. I saw this Chevrolet woodie with a for-sale sign on it, in front of someone’s house. I had been a car guy all my life and had owned many MGs and Volvos, but this car was different.
