The event took place the evening of May 4, and attracted hundreds of people to New Glasgow’s downtown scene. Provost Street was shut down to traffic most of the evening with most small businesses open late to feature artists and serve the community.Marcus English of Stone Feather Creations attended Art at Night as a vendor, he showcased his hand carved stone projects, such as the kitten sitting on the moon, shown here. English also has a large piece of artwork that can be seen at the Pictou Waterfront.
Art at Night is held each year in the spring. The event is to showcase artists experienced and amateur with all mediums including painting, sculptures, music, and more. Provost Street was full of people of all ages enjoying what vendors have to offer.
