NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — New Glasgow Regional Police are asking for public assistance in locating a 73-year-old woman with mild Alzheimer’s.
Adair Townsend was last seen leaving her home on Brookside Avenue in New Glasgow around noon on April 8. She is known to take regular walks by herself. Townsend is described as 5’2” and 110 pounds. She has medium-length grey hair and was wearing a grey-blue coat, black Doc Marten boots, and glasses. NGRP is continuing to follow up on several leads and tips provided by the public. According to witnesses, she was last seen near the Mount William Road area off Highway 106 on Monday, April 8, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and was also seen near Trenton Park at 6:30 p.m.
