IELTS is an internationally recognized English language proficiency assessment for people who wish to study, work or immigrate to an English-speaking environment.The test results are recognized and accepted worldwide for admission to post-secondary institutions and those wishing to demonstrate English proficiency for immigration and employment.
There are two main types of IELTS tests. The academic assessment tests the English skills students need in a learning environment like a university or college. The general training assessment tests the everyday language skills used at work or while socializing.
