A woman is fighting for her life after a driver fled the scene of a collision in Mississauga. Police are searching for a dark-colored vehicle with extensive front-end damage.
Peel police are searching for a dark-colored vehicle with significant front-end damage following a hit-and-run collision in Mississauga early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred just after midnight at the intersection of Bristol Road West and Loonlake Avenue, leaving a woman in life-threatening condition.According to Const. Richard Chin, the woman was crossing Bristol Road southbound when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound.
The driver, instead of stopping to render aid, continued east on Bristol Road. Chin emphasized that the damage sustained to the front of the vehicle would be considerable. Peel police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or possesses dashcam footage that could assist in the investigation to come forward.
