Defensive coordinator Joe Woods said on Thursday they aren’t shaking things up and that Delpit will still be the starting strong safety after the 24 year old gave up a handful of big plays in the Browns’ 38-15 loss to the Patriots.

BEREA, Ohio -- Browns safety Grant Delpit has gotten off to a rocky start this season, but Cleveland isn’t thinking about making a change to its depth chart.

“I wouldn’t say that right now,” Woods said when asked directly if changes were imminent. “Again, you see the good things that he does on the field -- that is with anybody that has made mistakes. You see the good things. You just really try to correct them. Those things are fundamentals. It is like you fall down. Why did you fall down? Look at your head placement and look at your eyes. It is those little things that we fix, and those plays don’t happen.

Against the Patriots, the LSU product was part of some of the defense’s most notable miscues in the second half.
