Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone will play for the first time in more than two months when he returns from injury Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks.
Goaltender Laurent Brossoit and forwards William Carrier and Nolan Patrick are on the long-term injured reserve list, helping make room for Stone on the cap-challenged Golden Knights’ roster.
The Winnipeg-born Stone has eight goals and 20 assists in 28 games with the Golden Knights this season. The Golden Knights entered Tuesday’s action two points back of the Dallas Stars for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference., and avoid posting profanity, personal attacks or harassment.
