Brighton Clary, 17, is being remembered for her volunteer work and as a talented Sylacauga High volleyball and softball player.

Friends and family are mourning the death of a Sylacauga high school student who was killed in an ATV accident.

The accident happened about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Pelican Lane near the Coosa River. Clary was then airlifted to UAB where she died in Thursday’s early-morning hours. Brighton Clary, a 17-year-old who just finished her junior year at Sylacauga High School, died Thursday at UAB Hospital in Birmingham following an ATV crash in Sylacauga.
