The Moncton Flyers did something no other team has been able to do since Oct. 2 – defeat the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Knights in a New Brunswick/P.E.I.

Zachary Wheeler’s second goal of the game at 5:30 of the third period broke a 1-1 tie and stood up as the game-winner in a 2-1 decision at MacLauchlan Arena on Nov. 25.

Ross Campbell answered for the Knights, who went into the game with a 17-game undefeated streak that included a 5-0-1 record en route to winning the major under-18 title at the Monctonian AAA Hockey Challenge in Moncton, N.B., on Nov. 20. Simon Cormier earned the goaltending win as the Flyers improved to 8-6-2-1 . Hudson Bradley tended goal for the Knights .Also, on Nov. 25, Jayden Burtt-Munn scored at 4:25 of overtime to lift the Fredericton Caps to a 4-3 road win over the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild at Credit Union Centre.Seamus MacEachern and Ryder Howatt answered for the Wild , who overcame a 3-1 deficit after two periods to force overtime and pick up a single point.Winning goaltender Will Hodgson stopped 26 of 29 shots.
