A flood outlook statement has been issued for the wider Sudbury area and will be in effect until Friday April 21, 2023.
The outlook statement is directed at residents in the Sudbury District, including the communities of Sudbury, Espanola, the municipalities of Markstay-Warren, French River & St. Charles, Townships of Sables-Spanish River & Baldwin, Town of Spanish and Manitoulin Island. The statement issued this week included the following observations -- Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue through this weekend, with daytime highs into the mid-20’s and staying well above freezing at night.
