Sudbury drops 113-110 home game to Newfoundland

The Five got their offence rolling in the third quarter scoring 35 points to Newfoundland’s 34 thanks to contributions from the likes of Ja’Myrin Jackson, who scored 16 points in the game, and JD Miller, who scored 21 points in the game, but Sudbury still found themselves down by a score of 93-81 with one quarter remaining in the game.
“We play harder, we work harder in practice. I don’t know why it’s not translating, but it has to,” he said. “We can’t walk out there and think just because we practice hard we’re gonna win the game. We have to play hard for 48 minutes.”
