The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking applicants to serve on the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation’s board.
The not-for-profit board is mandated with “championing economic development in the City of Greater Sudbury,” according to a media release issued by the city. Interested residents can find more information applying at investsudbury.ca/news/. The deadline to apply is noon on April 12. The board meets once per month beginning at 11:30 a.m., and meetings last up to approximately 2.5 hours. Members are expected to fulfill three-year terms, and are encouraged to take part in at least one of several committees focused on evaluating front-line economic development projects.
