Police received a call around 11 p.m. for a shooting in progress at the intersection of Austin HWY and Perrin Beitel. According to police two men got into an altercation at a bar in the nearby area which continued on the road and ended at the intersection. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Both men are believed to be in their 60's.
