Due to adverse weather and heavy traffic volume, BC Ferries says to expect delays for sailings between Vancouver and Victoria Friday night.

Earlier on Friday, Nov. 22, a 3 p.m. sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay departed 35 minutes late “due to adverse weather conditions and the crew taking extra time to load as many vehicles as possible given today’s heavy volume of traffic,” a statement read from BC Ferries.Delays were anticipated for the 5 p.m. departure from Swartz Bay as well as the 7 p.m. from Tsawwassen and the 9 p.m. departing from Swartz Bay.
