View Royal Garden Club celebrates 75 years The popular View Royal Garden Club is celebrating 75 years of operation with an anniversary celebration Saturday afternoon.
The View Royal Garden Club is a member of the BC Council of Garden Clubs and is one of the longest-running organizations of its kind on Vancouver Island. The event is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m. It will be held at the Victoria Scottish Community Centre, which is located at 1803 Admirals Rd.
The What’SUP WITCHES paddle is free but open to competent paddleboarders, kayakers, or canoeists only. Attendees will meet at Thetis Lake’s main beach . Guests are asked to arrive at 2 p.m. for the 2:30 p.m. launch. Witch hats will be available for sale, on a by-donation basis. Parking is free.
