Port Alberni RCMP have released a surveillance photo of a suspect vehicle in a case of dangerous driving.
Police received a report of an erratic driver on River Road near Golden Street after the driver of a pickup truck went into the wrong lane and almost collided with two other vehicles about 8 a.m. on July 23.Dashcam footage was obtained from a witness, but the speed of the pickup and glare from the sun partially obscured the licence plate.
Const. Jordan Fleurissaint called the incident “appalling,” saying: “This reckless and dangerous driving behaviour is inexcusable.”The suspect vehicle is an older model grey Dodge 1500 with a matching canopy and a chrome grill, rims, running boards, and front and rear bumpers.
