Marie - St. Joseph Island, Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake, Gogama - Foleyet, Blind River - Thessalon, Manitoulin Island, Greater Sudbury and vicinity, Kirkland Lake - Temiskaming Shores - Temagami, North Bay - West Nipissing, and Espanola - Killarney.
Motorists are advised to expect hazardous winter driving conditions due to reduced visibility caused by a combination of snow and blowing snow. Snowfall amounts are expected to range from 5 to 10 cm, accompanied by strong wind gusts of up to 80 km/h. The advisory is in effect from Monday morning into Monday evening.Additionally, a sharp cold front is anticipated Monday evening, potentially leading to sudden whiteout conditions and a significant temperature drop. As the cold front approaches, there is a possibility of a frontal snow squall warning being issued. Due to the expected high winds, loose objects may be tossed around, and tree branches could break. Power outages are also possible.Motorists are urged to adjust their travel plans accordingly and avoid unnecessary travel.
