The field for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts is set with eight provincial champions securing their spots at the prestigious Canadian women's curling championship in Thunder Bay, Ontario. From February 14th to 23rd, these teams will compete for the title of national champion and a spot at the World Women's Curling Championship.

The Canadian women's curling championship lineup was completed on Sunday with the crowning of eight provincial champions. A total of 18 teams will compete in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts from February 14th to 23rd in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Corryn Brown (British Columbia), Kayla Skrlik (Alberta), Nancy Martin (Saskatchewan), Kate Cameron (Manitoba), Danielle Inglis (Ontario), Krista McCarville (Northern Ontario), Jane DiCarlo (Prince Edward Island), and Brooke Godsland (Newfoundland and Labrador) all secured their spots at the tournament after winning their respective provincial championships on Sunday. \The reigning champions, Rachel Homan's team, earned their automatic qualification as the defending champions from last year's victory in Calgary. Four-time champion Kerri Einarson, Alberta's Selena Sturmay, and Manitoba's Kaitlyn Lawes also pre-qualified based on their high rankings at the end of the 2023-24 season. \Other provincial and territorial representatives who have already secured their spots include Christina Black (Nova Scotia), Laurie St-Georges (Quebec), Kerry Galusha (Northwest Territories), Melissa Adams (New Brunswick), Bayly Scoffin (Yukon), and Julia Weagle (Nunavut). The winner of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts will represent Canada at the women's world championship from March 15th to 23rd in Uijeongbu, South Korea. The winner will also qualify for the November's Olympic curling trials in Halifax, provided their team ranks in the top six at the world championship. Homan and Einarson already have trials berths secured. Should either team win the Hearts, the trials berth will go to the team ranked next-highest in the 2024-25 national women's team rankings at the conclusion of the Players' Championship in April
