Police say 48-year-old was repeatedly warned before finally being arrested on Oct. 11

TOWNSHIP OF THE NORTH SHORE – A local resident has been charged after police say an intoxicated person who was "apparently bored" made three 911 calls about matters that police say were not emergencies.

East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police say on Oct. 11 at around 11:30 p.m. they responded to a false 911 call made from a residence on Highway 17 in the village of Spragge."Investigation determined the caller was intoxicated for all three 911 calls and was apparently bored," police said in a release.The first false 911 call had come in at around 3:30 a.m. and the second at around 8:30 p.m., police say.
