A driver that was arrested earlier this month has once again been arrested after police received reports of dangerous driving and road rage in Victoria.
Around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Victoria Police responded to reports that a man driving a rental vehicle was driving erratically and was possibly impaired. At the same time people were reporting a road rage incident and dangerous driving in the Hillside Quadra area with matching vehicle descriptions.
Officers were later able to box him in at Hillside Avenue and Doncaster Drive, and the man exited the vehicle and approached the officers. He attempted to fight with the officers.He was taken to hospital for medical evaluation, which VicPD says is standard when a Taser is used.On Sept. 1, also around 3:45 p.m. Saanich Police responded to a Tesla being driven dangerously in the area of Cedar Hill Cross Road at Shelbourne Street, heading eastbound towards the University of Victoria.
