THUNDER BAY — Another player in the discount variety store category plans to enter the Thunder Bay market for the first time.
The City of Thunder Bay building services department has received an application for Dollar Tree Inc. to locate at McIntyre Centre at 1186 Memorial Avenue. A company spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the outlet is expected to be established in a space that's currently vacant.Across Canada, there are currently over 1,500 Dollarama stores, and about 228 Dollar Tree outlets.
