Officers responded to a report of an animal complaint at a dog park near Lake Drive South and Robert Street in Georgina , Ont., on Sunday morning. A surveillance video released by police depicts a black pickup truck pulling into the scene. The footage shows a suspect walking a dog on a leash to the other side of the park, where the dog is tied to a pole.

The suspect then walks back to the truck, leaving the dog restrained. The video captures the suspect entering the vehicle and driving away. The dog was subsequently transported to the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre to receive the necessary care and attention.
