The DIY Comedy Tour visits downtown Sudbury bar Little Montreal as part of its tour of Ontario communities Sept. 22. Herbert Henries is the only comedy dangerist in the world. He recently performed in front of the judges of Canada's Got Talent and was told by Howie Mandel himself that he is "Winnipeg's greatest comedy export.”
Scott Porteous has been doing comedy for almost 20 years. He’s toured countless times. Some of Scott’s credits include The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival, World Series of Comedy, CBC, and Reader’s Digest. Scott has a unique style of storytelling while delivering rapid-fire jokes and one-liners. He has the ability to be clean, dark, and perverse combined with subtlety and finesse.
He is the winner of the 2018 Etobicoke’s Top Comic competition, was selected to participate in the 2018 Brantford Comedy Festival, and has routinely appeared at comedy venues including Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy, Comedy Bar and The Comic Strip .
