DIY Comedy Tour hits Little Montreal on Sept. 22
Get ready to bust a gut when comedians Scott Porteus , Frank Russo and Mike Payne bring their DIY Comedy tour to Little Montreal in downtown Sudbury on Sept. 22.
“This stand-up comedy trio is a guaranteed laugh, whether it’s with them, at them or around them, the guys are up for performing at your local Legion, bar, community centre or laundromat,” a press release says. The format is simple; we stand-up and tell jokes, you sit down and laugh at jokes — everybody wins.”Scott Porteous has graced the stage of The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas and most recently, his alter-ego , was featured on Canada's Got Talent.
Frank Russo has performed in festivals including Sudbury Laugh Out Loud festival, The World Series of Comedy, The Thunder Bay Comedy Festival, and was a featured act in The Human Condition Cross-Canada Comedy Tour in 2019. Mike Payne has been a “key-player” in the Toronto Comedy Scene for more than six years and has toured most of North America, appearing with Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy, Rick Bronson’s
