Disneyland Resort to donate excess food during closure due to coronavirus

Disneyland Resort will donate all excess food during its closure to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

In a blog post Disney Parks writes,"while closely following food safety guidelines, excess inventory of dairy, fruit, vegetables, packaged goods and banquet meals is being donated Second Harvest Food Bank, whose mission is to end hunger in Orange County."Visitors cross Harbor Blvd. as they leave Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., March 12, 2020.

While they cite no reported cases of COVID-19, the park is closing after reviewing the governor of California's executive order. Along with Disneyland, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Paris Resort and Disney Cruise Line are also suspending operation.
