SaltWire Network | Posted: 56 minutes ago | Updated: 56 minutes ago | 1 Min ReadSYDNEY, N.S. — A second price drop in two days had seen the price of diesel drop 25.4 cents per litre at pumps in Nova Scotia.

The province's Utility and Review Board invoked the Interrupt Clause midnight Saturday to lower the price by 13.8 cents. This brought the cost to between 207.1 - 209.4 cents per litre on Cape Breton Island and between 205.2 - 209.4 cents per litre province-wide. Friday, when prices are regularly adjusted in Nova Scotia, diesel dropped 11.6 cents to a minimum of 221.0 cents per litre and a maximum of 223.3 cents per litre.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline remained the same and costs between 141.8 - 144.1 cents per litre at pumps in Cape Breton.
