Image from Facebook - Image from FacebookST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Newfoundland and Labrador government is reminding residents that the deadline to apply for Fiona disaster relief is approaching.
The program, which is for municipalities and local service districts, small business owners, non-profit organizations and homeowners, is intended to help those who sustained damage during Fiona in September 2022.or by calling 1-888-395-5611. As of Jan. 24, more than 200 applications had been received, and provincial officials are encouraging eligible individuals and organizations to apply before the deadline.
Documents from insurance providers or other required documentation can be submitted after the deadline as long as the application has been received by the deadline.
