Dancing On Ice star Connor Ball was left bleeding during his skate after suffering an injury moments before broadcast.
However, as he spoke to judges immediately after the performance, it was clear Connor was injured as he held a tissue to his chin while blood was visible on his white shirt., addressed the injury and explained that Connor was meant to open Sunday’s show but had an accident right before where he cut his chin open.
Connor clutched a tissue to his chin as blood dripped onto his collar and explained: ‘I was a bit stressed about the spin so I kept trying to perfect the spin and I slipped out and smacked my face on the ice.’ Judge Ashley Banjo then heaped praise on Connor’s professionalism and said: ‘Still coming out with blood on your face takes some guts. You looked a little concerned but now I know why.’
