A cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 1 in Berwick West early Friday morning.RCMP say the 20-year-old man was near the 3900 block of the road when he was struck by a west-bound Mazda 3.The cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville.Cpl. Guillaume Tremblay said police haven't determined yet in what direction the cyclist was travelling but he was in the same lane.
He said what the man was wearing in terms of safety and visibility gear, and what the bike had for reflectors or lights is part of the investigation.
