Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on three eye-watering £1million bonuses from Manchester United last season.
The Manchester United No.7 returned to United last summer on wages of £475,000-a-week - a substantial reduction from the £800,000-a-week he was said to be collecting at Juventus.The 37-year-old scored 24 goals in 38 games in all competitions, including 18 in the Premier League.
His goals, however, were not enough to stop United from ending the campaign with their lowest ever points tally in the Premier League.United's sixth-placed finish denied Ronaldo a hefty six-figure bonus which he was due if they qualified for next season's Champions League.He would also receive £1 million if he won the UEFA Player of the Year award, and the same sum should he have claimed the Ballon d'Or for a sixth time.
