The college's overall graduation rate is also on the upswing, according to new data from Colleges Ontario.

THUNDER BAY — Confederation College has made progress in its efforts to improve the overall graduation rate of its students.

The focus was to be on two-year diploma programs, where a graduation rate of only 55 per cent pulled down the school's overall rate."We've been working diligently over the past couple of years to support our students and reduce the number of those who did not complete their programs," he said. "The significant increase in our graduation rate is a clear indication that our efforts are paying off.
