High: 48Be careful as roads remain wet. Another wave of rain showers and thunderstorms arrive when Good Day Columbus starts. A few storms could pack gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning. A Flood Watch remains in effect until tonight with areas picking up 1-3 inches of rain.
The severe weather threat will end later tonight as the cold front moves through the area. Cooler air filters into the region as the low-pressure system climbs into the Great Lakes. Highs will reach the mid to upper 40s with more rain showers possible. As temperatures tumble Wednesday night, rain will mix in with snow. Rain/snow showers continue into Thursday morning before transitioning back into rain showers.
