Good Monday morning! We are start off chilly this morning, but we will warm up quickly today into the mid 60s.
Showers and storms will roll into Ohio on Tuesday, with the strongest storms staying to the west and weakening as they get into our neighborhood. The rest of the week looks mild and pleasant.SATURDAY: mainly cloudy, chance of scattered rain showers, high 62.MONDAY: mostly cloudy, chance of scattered showers, high 60.
In the meantime, Central Ohio has an increased fire danger Monday afternoon and early evening because of dry conditions and a fresh breeze that could lead to outdoor burning quickly getting out of control. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Showers and thunderstorms are developing from the Gulf Coast to the Upper Great Lakes, traveling up the system’s cold front and then swirling around the low. Temperatures on the east side of the system are in the 60s with rain and storms; temps behind the front are in the teens with gusty winds and heavy snow.
Western Ohio has a chance for some isolated strong storms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Central Ohio has less of a chance for severe storms but gusty winds are possible.
