The nominees for the Canadian Screen Awards were announced last week, and there are many Hill-based political news programs, personalities, and reporters vying for recognition in a bunch of categories. In Best Political News Program or Series, CBC News Network’s Power and Politics show hosted by David Cochrane is up against CTV’s Vassy Kapelos twice, as both her shows CTV Question Period and Power Play have been nominated.
“There are a couple folks in the public service who have been absolutely stellar in supporting the project. But on the elected side, there’s been a lot of hostility,” Malone is quoted saying on the IJF’s website.
