Clarinetist and UPEI faculty member, Karem J. Simon, will perform recitals in Montague and Charlottetown on March 31 and April 8, respectively. ContributedCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Clarinetist and University of Prince Edward Island faculty member, Karem J. Simon, will be featured in two upcoming recitals in Montague and Charlottetown.
Simon will be accompanied by a string quartet consisting of Sean Kemp and Karen Graves on violin, Jeffrey Bazett-Jones on viola and Natalie Williams Calhoun on cello. Simon has been a faculty member at UPEI for 32 years. He has curated the Clarinet Spectrum Series, which has showcased a diverse range of traditional, contemporary, and original works in various venues.
