ICYMI: The City of St. John’s is hosting a day full of free, family-friendly activities on New Year's Eve.
Later that day, there will be a skating party at The Loop in Bannerman Park from 5-7 p.m. with holiday music, free hot chocolate and party favours.
A live DJ and host, Stephanie O’Brien, from OZFM, will help the city count down to the 8 p.m. fireworks display.
